Job Description

Responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling purchase orders, delivering merchandise and keeping warehouse stocked and organized.  Ideal candidate will bring insight and creativity to E&G to ensure continuous growth for the company and their position within the company.


  • In-home furniture deliver and assembly on a daily schedule
  • Organize and maintain warehouse
  • Receive weekly shipments – physically and into the digital inventory manifest (Incoming)
  • Pick-up, prepare, send, and document damaged items being returned to builders (Outgoing)
  • Sort and place items on racks, shelves, or staging area per organizational standards
  • Picks orders and prepares shipments for warehouse-to-store transfers
  • Maintain accurate inventory through daily physical cycle counts
  • Process and fill customer phone/fax/email orders for furniture
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned by management
  • Accurately places correct price tags (SKU tag) on the correct merchandise (future)

Minimum Requirements

  • High school or equivalent
  • Strong Leadership, Work Ethic, Accountability, and Integrity
  • Dependable, Reliable and Punctual
  • Able to follow directions, multi-task, work well independently, and be a team player
  • Good communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook for email communication) may be required

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs; occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance
