ALAN SANSOVICH

IPT Global, llc   |   U.S. Marine corps Veteran

Alan is Director of Operations and Strategy at IPT Global; a software and service firm in the Oil and Gas Industry, specializing in pressure testing critical pressure control equipment and well barriers.  In his current role, he guides a diverse team of technicians, engineers, and managers working around the world, consulting with deep water operators and drilling contractors.

Prior to joining IPT Global, Alan served nine years in the Marine Corps as a Reconnaissance Marine, in both reserve and active duty capacities, reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant.  In 2006, he deployed to western Iraq with 1st Force Reconnaissance Company, as primary assault breacher for his team.  Alan’s other assignments include serving as primary instructor for the Combat Hunter course at Camp Lejeune, as well as a stint helping shape and teach the Special Operations Training Course, for support personnel, at US Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command.

Alan earned an MBA from Tulane University, and holds a BA in International Studies from the University of South Alabama.

ALAN SANSOVICH

Centurion Group   |   U.S. Navy Veteran

Alex is Vice President of Corporate Development for Centurion Group, a portfolio company of SCF Partners that provides specialty equipment solutions primarily to the offshore oil and gas industry.

Alex enlisted in the US Navy at the age of seventeen where he served for over thirteen years as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Specialist. He was assigned to operational units based in Italy and Virginia, including a tier one Naval Special Warfare unit focused on counter-terrorism and counter-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

After six combat deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq, Alex selected orders to the West Coast where he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California San Diego while serving out his last few years on active duty.

Alex left the military to attend the Wharton School, where he completed his MBA in 2012.

ANDREY POSTRIGAN

GE Oil and Gas   |   U.S. Army Veteran

Andrey was selected to participate in General Electric Oil and Gas’ Leadership Development Program, a two-year rotational program focused on gaining a broad base of Oil and Gas experience. Since joining GE in 2014, he has held a Project Manager position in the Turbomachinery Solutions business unit.

Prior to joining GE, Andrey served eight years in the US Army as both an Engineer and Special Forces Officer. He completed three combat deployments in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Andrey served as a Platoon Leader with 1st Cavalry Division while deployed to Iraq and as a Detachment Commander during two deployments to Afghanistan with 3rd Special Forces Group.

His military decorations include three Bronze Stars, Army Commendation Medal, two Army Achievement Medals, Combat Infantryman's Badge, Military Freefall Badge, Dutch Freefall Wings, and a number of other decorations and badges.

Andrey is currently pursuing a MS in Engineering Management from Southern Methodist University (Class of 2015) and received his B.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Texas A&M University @ College Station in 2006.

ANDY SNELGROVE

Laney Directional Drilling Company   |   U.S. Army Veteran

Andy is Director of Strategic Accounts for Laney Directional Drilling Company in Spring, Texas. Laney Directional Drilling Co. is a leading global Horizontal Directional Drilling company.

Prior to joining Laney, Andy worked with Inspection Oilfield Services, spent 5 years at Canrig as a Project Manager for New Product Development and as the head of Customer and Employee Loyalty and spent a year with Tesco as a Tubular Services Senior Sales Manager.

Andy graduated from the US Military Academy at West Point. He was commissioned into the Aviation Branch of the Army and flew the AH-64 Apache Helicopter. Andy was stationed at Fort Rucker, AL and Katterbach, Germany. Andy deployed with the 1st ID to Iraq in support of Iraqi Freedom II. While deployed, he flew multiple combat missions out of FOB Speicher near Tikrit, Iraq.

Andy earned his M.B.A. from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.

ANKUR KUMAR

Bain & Company   |   U.S. Marine Veteran

Ankur is a Consultant at Bain & Company, a management consulting firm. He is located in their Houston office where he focuses on serving oil & gas, industrial, and private equity clients.

Prior to joining Bain, Ankur served as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps as a CH-46E helicopter pilot. He led flight missions throughout the Middle East and Africa during multiple deployments. His personal awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal and Navy-Marine Corps Achievement Medal.

Ankur earned a MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BA from New York University.

BRENT BAUMANN

NextOp   |   U.S. Navy Veteran

Anna is the Corporate Partnerships Manager of NextOp, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in Houston, Texas. Anna was named to her current position in September 2016.

Anna is a native Houstonian that enlisted in the Navy in 2004. She served as a Fire Controlman, during which time she mainly worked with the Close-In Weapons System (CIWS) and the MK 38 Machine Gun System. Prior to her current role, while based in Vietnam, she was the Director of Operations for a retail company where she oversaw production and business development in both Southeast Asia and North America.

As a former small business owner, she oversaw all operational aspects of her company, including marketing, sales, quality control, social media management, accounting, project management and corporate relationship development. While performing in business development roles, Anna built relationships across multiple industries aiding in the growth of not only hers, but multiple external organizations. Understanding the importance of giving back to her community, Anna decided to shift gears and put her extensive experience to affecting change and improvement within the Veteran community in which she deeply cares about.

Brent Baumann

BEN ARMSTRONG

Louisiana Regional Manager   |   U.S. Marine Veteran

Ben is the Louisiana Regional Manager for NextOp a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in Houston, Texas. Ben was named to his current position in October, 2017.

Ben is an educated Marine veteran with 18 years of experience in professional leadership who served in support of Operation Enduring and Iraqi Freedom as an Aviation Electrician with Marine Attack Squadron VMA-231 from 1999-2004. Upon being discharged from the military Mr. Armstrong received his undergraduate degree from Texas State University and his Masters of Public Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

He served as the inaugural Director of Veteran Services for the University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) from 2011 to 2014. At UT Austin he worked with the University to development and implement the University's nationally recognized Veteran Services Plan. In 2014 Ben was appointed as the Finance and Administration Chief with the City of New Orleans Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness where he planned, developed and managed the City’s $52 million annual security budget and special projects.

Ben is an active member of the New Orleans VFW Post 8973. Since 2014 he has served in various leadership roles, supported the Post in their $600,000 renovation of their historic building, and in April of 2017 he was elected Post Commander.
