Job Description

Job​ ​Summary​ ​&​ ​Essential​ ​Functions
NextOp’s EMP Vista will successfully assist with the professional development of veteran candidates by
preparing them for a successful transition into a new career in the civilian workforce.

Essential​ ​Duties​ ​&​ ​Responsibilities:
Assist​ ​in​ ​Process​ ​Improvement​ ​of​ ​Combined​ ​Arms​ ​>​ ​NextOp​ ​Registration​ ​Process
● Analyze the Combined Arms registration portal and make recommendations to the fluidity of
the process focusing on how a veteran goes from Combined Arms registration to NextOp
registration with no drop off.
● Collaborate with Combined Arms team to draft standard operating procedures for the
registration portal from registration to proper turnover to the respective Veteran Service
Social​ ​Media​ ​and​ ​Community​ ​Outreach
● Assist the NextOp team to revamp/ strengthen their social media presence to target more
transitioning service members.
● Collaborate with Combined Arms to to sell Houston as a great place for veterans to return home
to thus growing the candidate population of NextOp and Combined Arms together.
Intake​ ​Assessment​ ​and​ ​Resume​ ​Refinement
● Create a positive candidate experience while assisting in veteran intakes and resume refinement
● Collaborates effectively with other non-governmental organization’s (NGO’s) within Combined
Arms to increase awareness of all programs/training and make proper program referrals
● Efficiently tracks and reports all candidate interactions and outcomes in real time using

Minimum Requirements

● Self-motivated, positive, outgoing, personable, and able to relate well with diverse populations
and age groups
● Able to take initiative, multi-task, work well under pressure, and complete required assignments
in a timely fashion
● Excellent organizational skills
● Demonstrated commitment to the organization and able to timely complete required
● Excellent verbal and written skills
● Ability to take initiative, multi-task and work well under pressure
● Exceptional interpersonal skills; team player, effective supervisor, ability to communicate with
diverse personalities, tactful, mature and flexible
● Should have excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with service-specific
wounded warrior programs and transitioning/separating veterans
● Experience working independently and comfortable being managed remotely

Education​ ​&​ ​Experience​ ​Requirements
● Relevant military work experience preferred
● Experience working with military rank structure, protocols and culture preferred
Certifications​ ​&​ ​Licensure:
● Valid United States driver’s license required
