Job Description

The Equipment Operator performs all kinds of jobs, with assigned equipment and people, safely and efficiently. The Operator provides service delivery with flawless service quality and no Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) incidents in accordance with policies, standards, and procedures. The position reports to the Supervisor.

Successful Equipment Operators are adaptable, show initiative, and have good written and verbal communication skills. They work well in teams and are curious and willing to learn new skills.

Responsibilities:

Ensures that the correct equipment and materials arrive on time on location, and are rigged up, tested and ready to perform the job. Ability to rig up/rig down equipment including high pressure rated equipment. Attends pre job meetings with team, customer and third party personnel. Performs risk analysis before each job or task and identifies and addresses potential safety hazards. Corrects and reports hazards immediately. Ensures preventive maintenance on equipment is performed as per standards and that unit is in safe, clean and proper working condition for the next service job. Performs inspections and self-assessments to ensure compliance with standards. Complies with all HS&E, Quality, and IT standards and policies and participates in HS&E and Quality initiatives and programs.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED). Minimum 3 years’ experience as a skilled operator or equivalent military experience. Basic PC literacy and experience with Microsoft Office Suite desirable. Class A CDL (or equivalent country qualification) clean driving record with HAZMAT preferred. Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the country of employment, without sponsorship.

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician Electronics is a specialized technician who follows a specific training program and is a member of the maintenance team with the important role of maintaining the reliability of our equipment. The Maintenance Technician Electronics is responsible for doing the modifications, corrective and preventive maintenance to minimize the failures in electronic equipment in order to prevent either lost time or poor quality data by ensuring that their assigned equipment is maintained as per Maintenance Standards.

Relationships: The Maintenance Technician Electronics reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager.

Previous Experience and Competencies:

The Maintenance Technician Electronics should be hired with a 2 years technical degree. The employee must have the ability to formulate thought processes necessary for an efficient troubleshooting. This position requires the ability to communicate with supervisors and lower seniority technician to share his knowledge.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

People & Training

  • Participates in advanced schools and seminars related to his/her expertise, for refreshing and actually sharing his knowledge with the maintenance team, ensures his/her post training is accurately recorded.
  • Keeps current with new Wireline equipment and technology and updated maintenance methods.
  • Promotes the importance of Data and Service Quality within the maintenance community.
  • Understands and complies with Schlumberger’s rules and regulations.
  • Assists the development and coaching of less senior Technicians.
  • Assists the other team members (FE/FS, Operators…) with the maintenance sections of their training program.

  • Actively uses InTouch Support both for technical solutions and for knowledge sharing.
  • Makes recommendations to supervisors on requirements for spare parts, test equipment and tools necessary for efficient maintenance.

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician Mechanical performs and documents the routine and advanced mechanical and electronic repairs, troubleshooting and diagnosis, and proactive maintenance of Well Services equipment. The Technicians are Mechatronic Specialists who should work to develop advanced technical expertise in both electronics and mechanics. The Maintenance Technician Mechanical assists with the supervision, training and development of all maintenance personnel.

Relationships

  • Uses Company tools (InTouch, Maintenance Bulletins, Technical Alerts, OSP website, etc.) to keep up-to-date on new equipment, technology and maintenance issues.

Minimum Requirements

Process & Equipment

  • Assists maintenance supervisor in promoting job safety, ordering parts, maintaining spares inventory, preventative maintenance reporting, auditing of third-party suppliers, and with the planning and operating of the maintenance department.
  • Performs daily unsupervised routine & advanced maintenance (mechanical & electronic) & well-site calls on WS equipment. Performs & promotes the WS STEM program.
  • Performs safe and proper operation of WS equipment in assigned District for maintenance purposes only. Can explain the operational and technical characteristics of WS equipment and well site-specific performance requirements.
  • Continues to develop self in mechanical and electronic maintenance techniques and equipment to improve mechatronic competency.
  • Communicates, reports and documents suggestions, ideas, lessons-learned, and best practices for continuous improvement.
  • Uses Fleet Assistant for the planning, execution and documentation of maintenance activities in the District. This includes, but is not limited to, parts purchasing and budget control, labor tracking, warranty claims, planned maintenance scheduling and repair orders.

  • Follows the company policies and procedures on quality, health, safety and environment and maintains required Quality and HSE certifications up-to-date.

Job Description

The Field Specialist will perform wireline engineering services, in particular Perforating Pump Down services, in accordance with Schlumberger’s safety and operational standards. The primary responsibility of Field Specialists is to deliver high quality services to our clients.

He/She is responsible for ensuring pre-job engineering tasks and dispatching of equipment is complete. Furthermore, he/she will assist with the operation and maintenance of wireline equipment at the job site; provide technical review of designs and operate and maintain specialized and proprietary equipment at the job site; and complete client service packets and data acquisition. The Field Specialist is directly responsible in ensuring the quality of service delivered at the wellsite, in terms of safety, quality and efficiency of operation, is up to standard. He/She will be a team member in a cell and provide the direct supervision to a group of 3-6 equipment operators on/off the well site. As a Field Specialist, the employee will ensure that the maintenance and treatment of equipment are successfully executed in accordance with Schlumberger’s specialized standards; complete training modules to maintain company professionalism and facilitate career development; as well as participate in the improvement of operations and safety.
