Job Description

 

Basic job description for a Trainee will be a mixture of Field Specialist and Plant Specialist positions.

Well management for producing and water flood operations; operation of production facilities, including oil/water treatment plants, and water injection plants. Performs general lease maintenance.  Interacts with the continuous evolution of hi-tech tools, precision equipment and integrated digital systems that are the core of the modern oilfield. Field Specialists work alternating schedules and occasionally overtime.

Responsibilities include monitoring all process variables in cryogenic gas plant and making needed adjustments, startup and shutdown of all compressors and pumps, startup and shutdown of amine and glycol plants, operation of tank battery; Work closely with other operators, I&E personnel and mechanics to insure equipment is operating at peak efficiency.

This is a 24 month training/apprenticeship program that enables the veteran to use their GI Bill while part of the program.

Trainee rate is approximately $26.00/hour.  Trainees are immediately eligible for benefits (Healthcare, 2 weeks vacation, pension, 401K)

Relocation package is a flat rate and mile rate to get to the work site.

Minimum Requirements

Successful Candidates Must: 
  • Separate from the military as an E-4 or above
  • Posses experience in Process, Instrumentation, Electrical, Compression, Industrial Maintenance or related technical and mechanical discipline while in the military
  • Must have honorable discharge and have separated from Active Duty service within the last 2 years
  • Posses a Technical or Mechanical background
  • Must be able to pass drug screen
  • Must have clean driving record
  • No DUI’s on record

Team: Technology and Innovation (T&I) – ES EUC Support

Role: IT Technician

Description: Based in Houston, TX the IT Technician will provide desk side support services for all clients in the Houston Tower, assist with delivery of IT Projects and serve as the custodian for all IT related Incidents and Service requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Deskside support (Hardware/Software Support & Training) on Windows PCs: local and network printers and multi-function devices and other PC peripheral devices
  • Install, configure, test and maintain IT hardware as necessary to address Incidents and Service Requests made by the client group
  • Provide Workstation Support for the following OS’: Windows 7, Windows 10, iOS
  • Diagnose problems with software configurations and Network (LAN) connectivity issues
  • Provide support for remote users leveraging VPN when away from the office.
  • Assist as necessary with the on boarding of new employees
  • Work with other IT Support Teams to coordinate resolution of Service Requests
  • Provide A/V support, including Skype, TelePresence, ClickShare etc.
  • Configure & Deploy Mobile Devices including iOS and BYOD platforms
  • Work with Hardware/Software vendors to facilitate warranty work on company owned equipment
  • Serve as backup for Executive IT Support
  • Manage Service-Now queue to achieve Service Level Agreements

Minimum Requirements

2+ years experience in deskside support or similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office application suite
Awareness of IT Service Delivery methodology
Strong written and verbal communication skills, client relationship skills, detail-oriented
Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

The program will consist of three (3) developmental rotations in roles of increasing responsibility, with a final rotation being into a full time field based assignment.

Job Description

Objective:

The primary objective of a Production Technician is the interaction with Well Analysts, Pump Off Controller (POC) /Inject Well Controller (IWC) technicians, and Lift Specialists to maximize production capacity and profitability. This role collaborates daily to determine producing well exceptions and performs diagnostics to return wells to production.

Essential Jobs Duties 

Participate daily with Well Performance Specialists (WPS), POC/IWC technicians, Automation Technicians (AT), and Production and Reservoir engineers concerning daily alarm exceptions Addresses all daily alarm exceptions

Troubleshoot injection exceptions

Make necessary adjustments in Life of Well Information System (LOWIS) Check all wells with casing alert

Clean, repair, or replace meters & change

Calibrate or replace transducers

Repair or replace motor control valve Repair or replace motor controller Repair or replace casing monitors

Replace batteries in Remote Telemetry Unit (RTU) Replace RTU

Troubleshoot & replace any top cards in RTU

Minimum Requirements

Education:

At least High School Grad or GED. Some college or technical training preferred

Professional/Technical Qualifications/Licenses/Certifications:

Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record

Experience: 

5+ years of industry experience preferred

In lieu of industry experience will consider the following fields:

Avionics, Heating and Refrigeration, Communications, Automation, radar technology, mechanical, electrical and/or nuclear technologies

Skills & Competencies:

Strong initiative and self-starter

Multi-task orientation with skills related to work prioritization

Working knowledge of oil and gas production operations preferred, but will train acceptable candidate. Understanding of importance of environmental and safe work practices

Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as by self without direct supervision Technical skills related to math and analytical processes

Proficiency in the use of personal computer utilizing a windows environment Ability to keep neat and accurate records
