Rebuilding a Skilled Workforce, Full Speed Ahead

NextOp is partnered with the Accelerated Training in Defense Manufacturing (ATDM) to provide veterans with valuable opportunities as they transition into civilian careers. The ATDM program offers free, accelerated training in high-demand defense manufacturing fields, including additive manufacturing, CNC machining, non-destructive testing, welding, and quality control inspection.

The four-month program provides each student with 600+ hours of instruction in one of five specialized trades: additive manufacturing, computer numerical control machining, non-destructive testing, quality control inspection (metrology) and welding. The goal of the program is to equip veterans with industry-recognized credentials and prepare them to enter the workforce immediately, fulfilling critical roles in the U.S. defense and marine security sectors. By working with the Department of Defense and industry leaders, the ATDM program helps meet the growing need for skilled workers in defense manufacturing, aiming to modernize, diversify, and expand the workforce.

Through partnerships with ATDM and SkillBridge, NextOp supports veterans in transitioning to successful careers in the defense sector, enhancing national security while opening doors to stable, lucrative employment opportunities. NextOp ensures that enlisted veterans are not only prepared for high-demand industries but also supported throughout their transition, opening doors to stable, lucrative employment while helping to meet the growing need for skilled workers in defense manufacturing and strengthening national security.
